September 8, 2010 - Real Time Tomography (“RTT”) is pleased to announce that Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania (BFTP/SEP) has again invested in the company to further its product development and commercialization. “Ben Franklin Technology Partners has awarded $275,000 to Real Time Tomography to continue the product development of their medical imaging technology for breast cancer detection”, explained Jennifer Hartt, BFTP/SEP’s Director of Investments/Life Sciences, Investment Group. “We are very optimistic about the broad ranging benefits that RTT’s technology will bring to the next generation of 2D and 3D medical imaging systems.” In 2008, RTT was awarded $150,000 by BTFP/SEP as an emerging technology company component of their portfolio.

This round of BFTP/SEP funding will help RTT advance the development and commercialization of RTT’s imaging technology for breast cancer imaging.
