Dynamic Reconstruction and Rendering™ Breast Tomosynthesis Images

Real Time Tomography's Dynamic Reconstruction and Rendering (DRR) technology is currently being applied to digital breast tomosynthesis, a new 3D imaging modality that has shown to have greater sensitivity and specificity than projection mammography in the early detection of breast cancer.

DRR reconstructed tomosynthesis image clearly shows a spiculated mass that was not as evident in the mammogram.
